You have to register for GST if your turn-over is more than 75k, but I don't see the point to register a PTY LTD with the turn-over blow 75k, since PTY LTD is not cheap to establish, registration fee, company insurance etc and have high ongoing cost too.
If your turn-over is less than 75k better go sole trader, cost is much less.
And yes if you are not gst registered the other parties buying your goods can't claim GST, but it depends, since this also means they pay 10% less. Not everyone needs to claim gst, like you might pay gst on a cloth you purchase, most likely you wouldn't claim for that gst back. |
