Shaun Wright-Phillips is close to a move away from Man City. His future is elsewhere. Bolton, QPR and Newcastle are all mentioned as possible destination, but he looks a definitive exit object before the transfer window close.

West Ham looks certain to see Scott Parker leave, with Tottenham the likely destination. Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole was also linked with Tottenham, bout could end up in France with Lille.

Scott Dann, who has been linked with Liverpool, couild by Wednesday evening become a QPR player. Danish international Christian Poulsen will leave Liverpool, He has agreed a move to Avien in France, but only on loan, since few clubs are willing to meet his wage demands at £ 40 000 a week.

Stoke are still chasing Wilson Palacios and Peter Crouch. Both players have for a while been linked with Tony Pulis and a double move could be finalised before the window close tomorrow.

Leicester are still searching for new players with Fulham forward Andy Johnson on of the targets. Nicky Maynard is also on Sven's radar and he could be leaving Bristol City for a fee in the region of a new club record fee for the foxes, £ 6 million.

David N'Gog is certain to leave Liverpool, with Bolton favourites to sign him. There could be other clubs also in the picture. Everton could join the race if they a move can be agreed for Jermaine Beckford and Yakubu. Beckford and Yakubu are a target for a number of clubs, including Celtic, Leicester and Sunderland.

Paris St Germain are willing to pay a fee of £ 8 milion to secure the signing of Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey. Arsenal is also mentioned as a possible new club for the USA international.

Bryan Ruiz is on the verge of a move to Fulham. Twente will cash in a fee of £ 10 million if a move goes through.

Owen Hargreaves is close to a move to Man City and this is a real surprise, but Roberto Mancini believes that the capacity of the former Bayern Munich players is still there and if his medical is ok, he will be a City player by tomorrow.

Newcastle have signed Inter defender Davide Santon. The Italian international will be a great replacement for Jose Enrique who earlier this month joined Liverpool.

Swansea are close to agree a move for ADO den Haag midfielder Jens Toomstra. Sunderland are surprisingly chasing Celtic forward Georgios Samaras. The Greece international could be joined by Peter Crouch if he decides to finally quit Spur and snub Stoke City.

Alan Hutton looks certain to join Aston Villa from Tottenham. The Scottish international will firstly join on loan with a permanent deal to be offered if the loan becomes a hit.

Middlesbrough defender Matthew Bates is a target for Swansea. Craig Bellamy could be a target for Tottenham, but could also be staying at Man City if they can't find a possibillity to pay out Bellamy's contract for the final year of his contract.

Cameron Jerome could be a target for Stoke, who looks almost certain to miss out on Peter Crouch. Crouch is still considering his future and could be staying at Tottenham or join Sunderland.

Leicester and Swansea were both linked with Max Gradel, but the Leeds flank player has agreed to join St Etienne.

Andre Santos is a target for Arsenal. The Brazilian could join the North Londoners today or tomorrow.

Fulham will most certainly sign Juventus defender Zdenek Grygera. The Czech Republic international will be a great addition to the squad and hopefully bring stabillity to a defence that so far this season has struggled.

Sunderland and Everton are both chasing Man Utd forward Frederico Macheda. Both clubs looks for a loan deal.

Chelsea looks certain to let Yussi Benayoun leave for Arsenal and are close to agree a deal for Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles. The future of a number of Chelsea players could be in danger, but not before the end of this season.

Papa Bouba Diop has joined West Ham from AEK Athens. The former Fulham midfielder is delighted to be back in London and will do what it takes to help West Ham back to the Premier League.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze is a £ 25 million target for Arsenal.

Kaka is close to a move away from Real Madrid, but not yet confirmed who will be the club to get him. Inter, Arsenal and Tottenham are all likely to be in the chase with Chelsea and Barcelona also mentioned, with Malaga, Paris and Anzhi also prepared to pay the cost to sign the Brazilian.

Holland midfielder Mark van Bommel claims Manchester City attempted to prise him away from AC Milan last week.

The Gunners boss is also interested in Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda .

北京时间8月31日消息，利物浦官方已经确认从乌拉圭民族队签下国脚级中卫科茨，但并未透露具体转会细节。不过民族队告诉美联社称他们将会收到利物浦为这位20岁的年轻中卫所支付的1150万美元。

当年马明宇在意甲佩鲁贾也是穿9号的，呵呵

Manchester City made a shock move for Owen Hargreaves, Tottenham completed the £5million signing of Scott Parker and made a fresh bid, believed to be in the region of £9m, for Gary Cahill - while Sunderland launched a £10m approach for Peter Crouch.
City were on Tuesday night ready to sign former England and Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves, 30, on a one-year deal after he came through a three-hour medical.
City manager Roberto Mancini was told Hargreaves was 'in great nick' and all that was left to conclude were the details of a contract that will, given his injury record, be heavily incentivised.
Hargreaves is a free agent, and City have until Friday's deadline for submitting squads to the Barclays Premier League to finalise the deal.

Arsene Wenger splashed some of the £80m at his disposal, completing a hat-trick of signings - Per Mertesacker, Park Chu-young and Andre Santos. He is now expected to follow up his interest in Everton's Mikel Arteta and Lille's Eden Hazard.

Newcastle also joined the spending spree, securing Inter Milan defender Davide Santon and looked set for a second bid for Freiburg striker Papiss Demba Cisse after their £10m offer was rejected.

Bolton defender Cahill, 25, who has a £17m release clause written into his contract, was the subject of a firm bid from Tottenham and in another twist Joe Cole, 29, held talks with Lille over a loan move from Liverpool .

Fulham also agreed a £10.6m fee with FC Twente for winger Bryan Ruiz, 26, but the deal has not been completed.

On Tuesday night it was unclear if Bolton had accepted Tottenham's offer for Cahill - but it is understood a bid of nearer to £12m would be enough.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is still short of Tottenham's asking price of £12m for Crouch, 30, but a swap deal involving Asamoah Gyan, 25, who cost £13m, cannot be ruled out.

Chelsea 's Yossi Benayoun, 31, was reportedly given permission to leave Israel's training camp on Tuesday to return to England to undergo a medical at Spurs.

Chelsea were said to be considering a swoop for 17-year-old Everton sensation Ross Barkley, while the Stamford Bridge club also still hope to land Luka Modric, 25.

Wilson Palacios, 27, will be confirmed as a Stoke player, while Crouch and Jermaine Jenas could leave.

Heurelho Gomes, 30, is in talks with CSKA Moscow over a loan and Aston Villa have bid £4m for Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams, 23.
