VoIP, POTS (3 phones on DECT base station), Dect direct (Fritz Dect phone registered directly to the box), two voicemail boxes (one for my wifes shop), calls ring on select phones based on source, port forwarding, wake services (like in motel), power management (typically runs at 36% consumption), 11b/g/a/n (currently have 13 devices connected – no more wired connectivity in my home), NAS (plug in USB or drive at back of router), firewall, DSL tuning with a couple of simple radio buttons (higher speed with more likelihood of sync dropouts versus lower speed high reliability with 3 increments in between), firmware pulled directly from server, multi phone books, voicemail delivered as email, daily email reports of all events/issues/transfer stats/detailed call records for all in/out calls, after hours call disabling (but can allow contacts flagged as important thru).
And then there are the funky features. Like VPN concentrator, and the weirdest is Night Service. With Night service it can turn your WLAN radios off at night to save further power. If you want to turn them back on, just dial #96*1 on any of your phones ;-) |
