I think you want to consider what kind of store it is. If it is a store within a big place, and they want to keep consistent look within the place, it may not be too unreasonable.
But isn't that most of the time the tenant will be responsible for the fitout?
I think you would want to try to push back and explain your concern/reason for objecting to that.
If that doesn't work, maybe something along the line that the landlord needs to finish the fitout within certain period, say 20 days/one month, so that you can move back soon. And there is no such request from the landlord within the first [X] years.
The easier solution might just push back. Your lawyer should be able to advise better depending on their experience. |
