Sourcing Officer
This contract role is an opportunity to gain experience in a company that drives innovation within its industry and boasts brand presence across retail, hardware and the industrial markets.
Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, we are looking for a team player who will be responsible for managing a range of predominantly Chinese manufacturing suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
Sourcing of new products
Negotiating pricing, terms and timelines with overseas suppliers
Driving projects to deliver to tight deadlines
Key supplier relationship management
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the product manufacturing environment, combined with an ability to understand general engineering, packaging and materials principles.
Fluency in Mandarin chinese is a must.
The role is a 10 month contract role and is based at our Head Office in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs.
Salary range $58,000-$65,000 depending on experience.
