made in korea!硬件做工没的说!top quality!
UI非常之modern!based on silverlight,客观的说绝对比iphone有前景!

after a bit playing around with it, i realised that it's doing better than iphone in many places:

1, the email client, it actually does full sync including deleting, it's in the same way as outlook connector, you either wait for it to auto sync up your account (usually 30 mins, can be set in settings), or you press the refresh button to manually sync it, i tried hotmail, gmail, all work the same way, damn this is so much better than iphone!

2, people hub, it's integrated with all your social account, you can see your windows live account and google account in your contact card, and you can link the contacts come from different source(facebook, live, google, contacts in old phone) together, this is much better than any other mobile os out there;

3, the zune software!!! it almost has all the features that I have wanted itunes to have!!!
dropping any media files into your phone from any computer, and support converting virtually most movie types that are playable on your computer to your phone out of the box, i tried dropping a divx movie to the phone last night, 90 min's movie, only takes less than 10 mins to convert and copy!!! the converting speed is amazing and image quality is the same!!!
now i can drop movie and musics from my home computer and drag them out to my office computer, almost like a usb drive!!!
and i tried in itunes, it doesn't even allow you to add avi files to the library, so no way of copying it to iphone, you have to rely on 3rd party softwares like oplayer, 3rd player's downside is, they can't utilise hardware acceleration to play videos, thus showing slow performance and large battery usage, the same avi movie plays in oplayer but laggy!

4, one thing that the marketplace app is better than iphone's appstore is once you found a good app, you can browse for more app from the same developer, i reckon this is important and i can't believe that apple's appstore does not have this feature on iphone

however, something wp7 needs to improve is
how to extend the capacity, from 8G to more
no multi tasking, (but i almost never use it when upgrading to ios4 for my ipad)
no music store for australia market yet (definitely will come later)
copy + paste (is coming)
tethering seems working only on samsung wp7 phone so far, needs to explore more

some iphone user's thought on wp7

"Hey guys been researching for the last 3 months and finally made my choice (it was the Omnia 7 or the HD7). Here are my thoughts (also posted on cnet).

So my iPhone has served me well for 2 years but i was REALLY bored of it (i've jail-broken it approx when i got it). So i started researching for my next upgrade and saw WP7 and loved what i saw. Boy does it feel good when your vindicated and you expectations are exceeded.

Hardware: Almost perfect. The handset is understated in a good way and comes across as a very thin slab. Hold it in your hands and the quality just hits you. Metal backing, tight finish on the button, super glossy front – feels very tight and very well crafted. It's extremely easy to hold and melts into your hand with the tapered edges. The handset is near impossibly thin esp with the large square front. The next thing is the screen. It is simply second to none. Although the iphone 4 does have a higher res, this baby is much bigger, much brighter, better viewing angles and much better blacks. The OS on the dark theme blends into the bezel giving a mouth watering bezeless look. In actual fact at times the entire front looks like a screen – simply awesome. The camera buttons are good quality and easy to press. The camera takes terrific pictures but the flash is overpowering (you can turn it off though). There are a slew of great camera options to boot.

Call clarity is great with very clear sounding voices. The handset also keeps a call in regions in which my 3G would drop (both are on optus). I deliberately tested it in a known black spot near my house. The call (on loud speaker) went without a hitch and the call quality was the best since my good old nokia/SE days (t68i). The loud speaker is also very good at cranking out music and is MUCH louder and clearer than my 3G and my brother 3GS.

The downsides is the limited onboard storage (8gb). To it's credit it has NAND modules so things load as quick as you'd hope (compared to other WP7 handsets with micro sds). However the OS (software section) goes a long way to overcome the limited storage. My only other nit pick is the green tinge to the screen for whites off center. It's not too bad but certainly there. Front on the whites are spectacular as is the case with any colour.

Generally everything is lightning fast so the hardware is perfect.

SOFTWARE: Were do i start. If you wanted to have the feeling that the future has arrived then WP7 will certainly do that. Show this off to your friends and i guarantee their jaws will hit the ground regardless of what they've seen. Everything is LIGHTNING fast- never a stutter. This is hardware but considering this is a galaxy s (i've tried one out) the software must play a big part cause the galaxy's i've tried have never been this smooth.

The lock screen is very good at seeing what you have without unlocking your phone.

When unlocked the start menu is beautiful and very functional. It just screams you and is in a way your life in tiles. It's very easy. Swipe to the right for the list. My only worry is the length of the list with more apps installed. But really the start menu is there so you can pin what you use often which helps to make this more bearable (if it did become a problem)

Enter you email and live account and the phone comes to life.

The people's hub is perfect. It's ever changing and very personal. Simple post on peoples wall then and there. Overall you wonder why it has taken so long to get it so right. It just feel very intuitive. Lastly a special mention to the simply inspired way for jumping to a person's first letter. Tap on the square and you get every letter. It's so damn easy and quick – so much so that i can still have 100+ contacts but in 2 taps get to my friend.

The picture hub is again intuitive. It's beautiful, quick and very eye catching (the screen helps). Now to go back to my point about the OS over coming the limited storage. Your facebook albums and skydrive pics (and i have over 6gb of pics) instantly load in the picture hub. So as long as you have a 3g or wifi connection they load on the phone as if there were stored locally. Amazing! Pinch to zoom is super quick (get the trend). Special mention to the camera. Take a pic and swipe to see it straight away. Very nice.

The zune hub is an excellent mp3 player and IMO vastly superior to my iphones. Album art are large and it's very easy to navigate. Press the volume buttons to access anything anywhere. Very cool.

The marketplace and xbox live hubs are more of the same. Very east, quick, intuitive. Try before you buy is a terrific option. Again it works very quickly (wifi) and some loading over 3G. Either way it's very quick and slick.

Emailing is terrific. Large clear letters and swipe for unread or flagged mail. The only problem is when i delete an email on the phone it does not delete on my yahoo mail account. I'm sure these are teething problems that will be ironed out in time (my iphone had the same thing when i first got it).

Office is great but in honestly i haven't really tried it out. Simply knowing i can edit docs or even load powerpoints (great if your on the bus and want to practice your presentation)is a great thing. The layout (panoramic) insures that the same speed, beauty and ease are there.

Browsing (i do a lot) is perfect. IE is quick, pinch to zoom is simply instant and for the most part everything renders perfectly and quick. The option for the desktop version in settings is a welcome addition. The tabs work great and are very quick. Only gripe is the lack of a home page and no menu's in landscape mode. Although by the same token i do appreciate the full screen (landscape mode).

The only thing i wish they did was make the phone hub just as pretty. The email hub should really be how it should be. Swipe for recent, missed or favourites. The people hubs and pinning to the start menu do help overcome some of it's deficiencies.

The voice control/input (hold the windows key down or use with bing) is spectacular!! I'm amazed how accurate it is (approx 9/10 times right). I simple say call x and it works. Or in Bing 'pizza' restaurant' and it finds it.

I love the little touches. The time is always showing but all others are smart icons i.e. reception when making a call, battery shows when it's low and wifi shows when you connect or it's low. By the same token the bing button is also context smart. Use it in people's hub and it searches contacts, or in marketplace to find apps. The find my phone works flawlessly and i've tested it with even calling my phone. Lastly the wireless sync works very well, gone are the days in which i need to sit in front of the computer. The Zune software is VERY cool and may replace WMP 12 as my primary media player (THANK god i don't have to touch itunes again!!)

Lastly the calendar hub is very very good. If your like me your phone reminds you for a lot of things. The addition of an appointment on the lock screen is also excellent.

In general the whole experience makes you believe that the future has arrived. Setting the time on you calendar is a thing of simplicity and beauty. Everything just looks light years ahead of the rest.

I could not recommend this handset more. If you are after something that is top spec'd, quick, easy, astonishingly beautiful (OS), different and helps you get on with you social life. I beg you to give this at the very least a try. I assure you that you too will believe that the future has arrived. Everything else is now antique."

5,compared the app install experience, in iphone, when you find an app, click install, it brings you back to home screen, navigate to the page where the app sits and let you see the app is downloading and installing, this is ok if you are just installing one app,but it's a pain if you have multiple app to install, you always need to go back to appstore, go back to the catalog and find the rest of the app you need to install;

in wp7 after you click install,  you stay in marketplace and you can keep browsing, this is the same as in android, but i realise android download all queuing apps at the same time, in wp7 the apps are downloaded one by one, IMO wp7's method makes more sense, especially for my 3G network, if you put 2 apps in queue, and they are all around 2MB, then downloading the at the same time is 4MB, if the network drops in the middle, then they all fail to install, getting them one by one is definitely a safer way

performance wise, during the apps are installing, if you are doing something else wp7 has no lag (don't know why, it should at least lag a bit), iphone is ok, only lags a little bit, can hardly be noticed, android is the worst, obvious lags! android testing is done on the same 1GHz cpu on hd2, so can't blame hardware, it's a software issue!!!

用户体验来说 Android绝对是最不 responsive 的。

主要可能是应为 WP7 和 iphone 一样, 是一体化内存。
