Bureau Veritas is expanding its Victorian Non Destructive Testing Operations Asset Integrity and Reliability Services and is looking for a suitably experienced sales person to spear head its sales and marketing program. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong sales ability coupled with experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Reporting to and working closely with the Victorian Branch Manager, this results driven person will be accountable for the sales process throughout Victoria to develop new and existing clients, secure profitable project work and to match and develop our products to current and future market needs.
This role will encompass but is not limited to the following:
§ Manage the states sales and marketing tracking system to ensure these activities are completed in a timely manner to support current and future sales revenue.
§ Work with the state management structure in planning and maintaining sales call plans, including marketing and selling of new products.
§ Keep abreast of industry trends and market needs to ensure we are delivering products valued by our clients. Develop a network of industry government and statutory body contacts so that the company can be involved at an early stage with any significant new developments
§ Promote a culture of customer service throughout the organization.
§ Transfer customer expectations into the organization.
§ Prepare and deliver presentations on the companies capabilities to clients and industry bodies.
§ Coordinate and assist with the preparation and distribution of advertising and promotional activities.
Skills Required:
§ Tertiary qualifications in a relevant technical discipline, demonstrated technical and product knowledge and attention to detail.
§ An understanding of sales and marketing concepts through formal qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
§ A strong understanding of sales processes and culture, and good commercial judgment.
§ A sound working knowledge of profit and loss management, budgeting and cost control.

§ An active, energetic individual, market focused, with the ability to identify new business opportunities, and the ability and willingness to take calculated risks.
§ Strong planning and analytical skills with proven track record in project management with ability to manage deadlines and drive to a finish.
