在2009 HSC   排 第十一名，

又不是精英。


The school has about 1800 children and almost all are from language other than English and low-socio-economic backgrounds. With a very strong emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy, most students excel at school and almost 100 per cent of Year 12 students gain university entry。

这是一所穆斯林学校。估计我们中没人会去。不过也说明人家教学质量挺高的。

我不是说其他，我是说为什么这样一个背景的学校low-socio-economic backgrounds，可以取得如此的成绩。

low-socio-economic backgrounds是怎么定义的呢？按收入？讲不讲英语？是不是移民？

中东人里最好的私立学校,学校在中东人聚集区.大概把中东精英小孩都搜罗过来了.
前几名里还有个以色列人的私校.
我一直在想,中国人这么注重教育,咋每个自己好的似立呢?

读到过争议这个学校排名的报道，大致说该学校将学习差的学生另外注册到TAFE学和考试，学校排名因此被提升。

YEAR 12 students at a private school in Sydney are forced to complete HSC subjects at TAFE if it appears they will not score high marks.

Malek Fahd Islamic School, in Greenacre, joined the top 10 HSC performers in the Herald's league table for the first time last year, ranking ninth - a jump from 15th position the previous year.

Malek Fahd students, who pay fees to attend the school, make up close to half the free HSC chemistry class at Bankstown TAFE this year.....

我wide guess 一下，这家学校highly selective,  入学前有严格的考试或者面试， 人家一看没有学习潜力不听话的就直接据了。
