Open Weekend At The Gallery

Celebrate a weekend of over 50 free events in the Grand Courts at one of Australia's leading art museums.
Highlights include talks by artists including Pedro Wonaemirri on Indigenous art, a tour of the highlights of the Grand Courts with Edmund Capon, Gallery director, and Jack Thompson will read the short stories of Henry Lawson.
Take part in a free drawing workshop, watch sculpture and painting demonstrations, and take a tour with Gallery curators, artists, and experts.
Also running will be tours of the collection in Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese.
During the weekend, all audio tours will be free including Kids, Director's Choice and Curators' Insights.
Open Time
10am - 5pm Daily. Wednesdays until 9pm.
