问个NSW U-turn的小白问题

当时考交规，也就几天刷下题，没有仔细去留意。 这里问个小白问题给大家送分

在墨尔本，布里斯班玩的时候发现，这两地方的人 红绿灯口经常右转道就是一个U-turn 调头，但是回到悉尼好像感觉大家都会选择拐去小路找个 roundabout 在拐出来， 是NSW 州的 交规不一样吗？ 还是在NSW 没有禁止U TURN的红绿灯口，我也可以U-turn调头？

nsw只有标志可以u turn的路口才可以，否则不可以路口u turn

在没有红绿灯的路口默认可以掉头， 除非看到NO U-TURN的标志



U-Turns

Take extra care when making U-turns as they can be dangerous. U-turns cannot be made:

    Where there is a NO U-TURN sign.
    On motorways.
    At traffic lights unless you see a U-TURN PERMITTED sign at the intersection.
    Across an unbroken (continuous) line, double centre unbroken (continuous) lines, unless the line closest to you is broken.

You must start your U-turn from the marked lane nearest to the centre of the road or, if there are no lane markings, the left of the centre of the road.

Before starting the U-turn you must make sure it is safe: check mirrors and blind spots and that you have a clear view of any approaching traffic.

You must not begin your U-turn unless you can make the turn without
unreasonably obstructing traffic. Give way to all vehicles and pedestrians and signal before you start to turn.

没说可以Uturn就不行。右边路口可能会允许左转

看了英文的解释，此贴正解。楼上楼下两个解答好像都不完全对哎。除了红绿灯路口和高速公路，没有禁止都可以U-turn.

自己查查双实线.

QLD和NSW一样，只有在U-Turn Permitted的路口才可以调头，如果没特别写明，就不可以

维州规则跟新州不一样。但是昆州规则好像跟新州一样啊。

楼主说的是新州。在信号灯路口，只有在U-Turn Permitted的路口才可以调头；在没有红绿灯路口，无禁止U-turn标志就可以。

楼主举的例子是VIC和QLD，我觉得他理解有误。

VIC和NSW相反，而QLD和NSW一样。

当然，有实线是不允许的。在新洲实线除了一种情况可以穿越，那就是到家了。另一种情况是道路前方有障碍物。

搞搞清楚确实对安全有好处。“楼上对齐”提供的链接说明了资料来源和发布时间，如果无误的话，我觉得他的解释是正确的。

记个顺口溜啊，对于红绿灯路口U turn，新洲是No(NSW)，维州是Victory(VIC)

新州单实线，允许在离开或进入道路时穿越，比如从加油站出来右转或右转进加油站。双实线只允许在需要越过前方路面障碍且视野安全的前提下穿越。

楼上“星辰大海”说的是对的，单实线和双实线有区别。双实线只有在前方有障碍物时才能越过，比如有事故车辆挡道等等。在新洲还有个补充规定，允许进出自家住宅时穿过。

单实线全国都可以穿越。只有牛省允许穿越的是双实线：

你这个文件是过时的，当时适用的可能是Road Rules 2008 (Historical version for  1 July 2012 to 31 October 2012)。

Rule 132 (2)  A driver on a road with a dividing line must drive to the left of the dividing line, except as permitted under rule 134 or 139 (2).

当前适用的是Road Rules 2014 (Current version for 10 November 2017 to date)，Rule 132(2)后面附注明确说了，双实线只能在Rule 139允许的越过前方路面障碍的情况下穿越。

Rule 132 (2)  A driver on a road with a dividing line must drive to the left of the dividing line, except as permitted under rule 134 or 139 (2).

[...]

The effect of this subrule, in relation to continuous dividing lines, is as follows:

(a)  in the case of a dividing line that is only a single continuous dividing line, or that is a broken dividing line to the right of a single continuous dividing line, a driver may only drive to the right of such a line in the circumstances set out in rules 134 (3) and 139 (2), as supplemented by rule 139 (3),

(b)  in the case of a dividing line that is a single continuous dividing line to the right of a broken dividing line, a driver may only drive to the right of such a line in the circumstances set out in rules 134 (2), 134 (3) and 139 (2),

(c)  in the case of a dividing line that is 2 parallel continuous dividing lines, a driver may only drive to the right of such a line in the circumstances set out in rule 139 (2), as supplemented by rule 139 (3).

你看得不够仔细：

134   Exceptions to keeping to the left of a dividing line

...

(3–1)  Without limiting subrule (2) or (3), a driver on a road with a dividing line (whether or not continuous) may drive to the right of the dividing line to enter or leave the road by the shortest practicable route.
Note. This subrule is an additional NSW subrule. There is no corresponding subrule in rule 134 of the Australian Road Rules.

这句话跟以前没有变过。所以在牛省还是可以跨双实线的。

学习了。在悉尼一年,没印象做过u turn. 但nsw路比较窄,不太容易u turn.

你说的区分是全国一致的词，所以对这条牛省特有的规定无效。

这句话很清楚，不管什么样的dividing line，实的虚的一根两根都能过。而且这句话在以前的法律中也是一模一样的，没有改过。

Road handbook不是法律。

我觉得这样解释在逻辑上不通，既然132已经说了双实线只适用139(2)和(3)，那么如果新州确有例外补充也应该在这条下就注明。而且134(3-1)也只说不论虚实，并没说不论单双。

然后翻到最后的Dictionary：

dividing line means a road marking formed by a line, or 2 parallel lines, whether broken or continuous, designed to indicate the parts of the road to be used by vehicles travelling in opposite directions.

既然定义已经包含单双虚实，那么134(3-1)为什么还要点明不论虚实，同时不点明不论单双。

反正一直就是这么写的，不存在2014年和之前版本不一样一说。
