Hi, can anyone give me advice on dependent spouse tax offset? My wife migrated to Sydney in Sep this year and she is holding a provisional resident visa and not working at the moment.
I’m a PR and working full time. I had a discussion with payroll officer about my sitiation, they suggest me to fill in “declaration holding” form so that I can pay less tax. However I had difficulties answering question 9 and 11 in the form, see below. I called ATO and they couldn’t give any advice. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you. |
