在commercial公司做会计可以读CA吗？

想请问一下在commercial公司做会计可以读CA吗？还是一定要在firm做才可以？我去CA的网站看，entry requirement有要求在approved or recognised employer工作。

Q. There are no Chartered Accountants employed in my organisation. Can it still become an ATE?


A. It may be possible for your organisation to gain ATE status without having a Chartered Accountant on its staff. An Approved Training Employer is an organisation that offers the type of work experience and training that fulfils the Practical Experience requirements for Chartered Accountants.

If there is no Chartered Accountant in your organisation to mentor you, you and your employer will need to nominate an external mentor who meets the Program’s requirements and have a line manager/employer representative who will ensure that you have the day-to-day exposure to activities needed to develop the required competence.

A2. It is preferable to have a mentor at your place of work. However, if there is no Chartered Accountant at your employer who qualifies as a mentor, you can apply to undertake the Program with an external mentor if they meet the Program’s requirements.

Sorry I had no experience in your situation as I had an internal CA mentor. All I can say is that when I did my focus sessions, all the candidates that I aware of were either from ASX 200 companies, BIG4 or other chartered or consultancy firms.

I guess you better ask some other CA in this forum or someone who is having an external CA mentor at present.

只要你能找到mentor,并且做着相关工作，好像要求至少AA才行，就可以enroll 了。我的mentor就是论坛上找到的 很多人很热情帮忙的
