Appearance: Dark red with deep plum hues.

Nose: Intense lifted cassis layered with underlying notes of freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate and eucalypt.

Palate: Rich opulent ﬂavours of blackcurrant, brambles and plums are impeccably balanced with complex oak. Smooth, ﬁne-grained tannins, a seamless texture, balanced acidity and persistent ﬂavours.

Food: Slow Roasted Venison Shoulder with Rosemary and Soft Polenta.

Cellaring: Will reward ﬁfteen years or more of careful cellaring.

Alcohol: 15.0%
