Proposed Development: Alterations and additions to existing place of worship (mosque) including first floor additions; new domed roof; ground floor additions; internal alterations and 16m high minaret attached to the north-east of the building
Hurstville City Council, as the consent authority, has received the above Development Application. In keeping with our commitment to informing owners and occupiers of adjoining land of these applications Council advises:
• That the application and accompanying documents may be inspected for fourteen (14) days, from 13/2/15 to 27/2/15.The Plans and supporting documentation can only be accessed electronically using the self-service computer kiosk within the Civic Centre, internet facilities at the Library or using the internet from home.
• To access the documentation electronically visit Hurstville council website Go to “I want to”, “Find it”, “Applications Online” and fill in the application details. Assistance with interpretation of the plans is available over the phone by contacting Council’s Development Enquiry Officer, or in person at the Civic Centre in MacMahon Street.
• If, after inspecting the application and supporting documents, you wish to lodge a submission, it must be in writing and reach the General Manager by the last day of the notification period indicated above. Late submissions may not be considered.
• Information on how to prepare a submission is available at Hurstville council website (Go to Building and Development/Objections & Submissions).

Submission Hints
• Talk to the applicant – ask the applicant if they can address your concerns before you make any submission
• Clarity – clearly state the impact the proposal will have on the amenity of your property, preferably in point form
• Suggestions – where possible, offer comment on how the development could be improved or relevant conditions that may be imposed
