The Company

Our client is looking at hiring a boot maker in an intensive manufactory industry. They have been around for over 40 years in the manufactory industry. They provide finest quality A-grade sheep skin boots. This position will be responsible for boot maker to work at every stage of the manufacturing process.        


The Role

We are looking for a person that has at least five years of relevant experience in the boot making industry. To be successful for this role you must understand that this role suits a person who is hands on in a manufacturing industry and enjoys manual work in shoe / boot business. You will be responsible for cutting and preparing canvas, leather and sheep skin, hand and machine sewing, hand gluing and to design specifications, patterns and drawings.


The Ideal Candidate
•        Ideally, trade qualified or over 5 years' experience in shoe / boot making in a factory
•        Good eye for details
•        Experience in raw materials and pattern making, boot assembly, heel design, flat sewing and construction, cup seaming and over seaming, final boot assembly, quality control, postage and packaging       
•        Attention to Quality
•        Highly Productive
•        Willingness to learn and develop skill base
•        Good communication skills / good command of English
