Questions
What do you do in your spare time?
What is your favorite academic subject?
Do you participate in any extracurricular activities?
What do you like about this school?
What is your school like?
How do you describe your school?
What are your interests?
Are there any other schools you’ve applied to?
Why are you applying here?
What do you expect from the school community?
Are there any activities you are interested in here?
How did you spend last summer?
Do you have any hobbies or special interests?
Have you been a volunteer?
How do you spend a typical day after school?
What activities do you enjoy most outside the daily routine?
Would you make different choice of activities if you were to do it all over again?
What’s your favorite sport and why do you like it?
What do you like about your current school? Why do you consider leaving it?
这些问题都很简单, 但是需要展开回答和解释原因.
6年级以下参加面试一般不隆重, 有的学校会配备一个高一年级的孩子做ambassador, 介绍学校情况, 缓解孩子的紧张.
有的学校低年级的面试是group形式, 6-8个学生一组, 有共同问题需要每个人逐一回答,有特殊问题需要抢答.不是6年级以上通常是一对一面试.
口齿清晰,自信表达应该是考核的目标,另外让小孩子懂得一些礼仪,比如开场的问候, 和考官应对时要端坐,看着对方眼睛说话.
有的学校同时需要面试家长.
