.NET Developer 工作问题求助

各位前辈好.
我现在有一个情况好难决定. 我现在奥克兰一家公司做E-Commerce 网站开发, 用C#, .NET 和SQL Server. 我去年7月份加入这家公司. 之前在别的软件公司给客户开发软件. 加起来一共有大概3年多.NET经验. 我在国内做过几年工程设计, 用C++开发过内部软件. 我有奥克兰大学硕士学位和微软MCPD证书.

我现在越来越觉得在我们公司没前途, 就我一个做软件的, 虽然做的软件有挑战性, 但是没有规模. 我想找一个中等大小的软件公司, 但是在奥克兰很少机会. 我很想来Melbourne, 不知道我能找多少年薪的? 我在这边的收入比上不足, 比下有余, 所以要至少80K的工作我才值得来. 不知道我的经验在Melbourne能找到80K的工作吗?

还有家庭问题. 我有一个三岁小孩, 所以幼儿园也是一笔开销. 我们这边上幼儿园政府补助20小时费用,我每周只支出大概50块. 不知道Melbourne上幼儿园Full time 每周多少钱? 我老婆现在正在熬满三年工作经验以便拿到CA, 所以她一年之内不能走. 我一个人过来可能会有很多困难.

这么多问题要考虑真是很难啊. 我已经三十几岁了, 再不找有前途的工作就太晚了, 请各位有经验的前辈给我出出主意.

还有如果谁有内部工作机会, 能否帮我留意一下?

80K package for a 3 years .Net would be easy to find.
80K base would be a little bit difficult but still there, that takes some time and luck.

I agree with gozh2005. In addition, what's far more important than 3 years .net exprience is how good you're at abstraction, design, algorithms and ablility to follow best practices... So in other words, nobody knows how much you will be able to earn in the market before he/she has further informaiton.  Good luck!

By the way, what kind of ecommerce site (s) is it? Is it for your own company or for your client?

I think my general design skills is not bad, especialy when I took over the work from my previous programmers, and I looked into their code, I found out it was rubish. I had to redesign some part of the system to make it perform better and easier to maintain.

The ecommerce web site has been their for several years, I am continuesly developing on it. It's a high volumn web site which takes millions of dollars of order each year.

but how could people can know it well in an interview process...

The salary would really be decided by your relevant experience and previous work company and job title.. of course.. and how well you can present yourself, in another words, how can you bull shiting into the door..

Truth is for a mid-level of .net developer, there is not much around for 80K base.
It would be very easy and a lower salary for a senior developer, but mostly they will need you to have a good team leading, project management experience.

I would really like to hear from any people who is at a mid-level programmer but earn more than 80K base in Melb. People in Sydney or Canberra are much richer I believe.
