偶然看到这竞赛，转发一下。主题是能够表达“热浪”heat wave，例如热空气产生的海市蜃楼现象。头奖100块ABC shop购物卡，当然更重要的是ABC发的奖，听着比较响亮。

What is summer like where you live? Is it a world of parched dirt and shimmering mirages or massive thunderstorms?

Send us a photo that radiates the essence of summer heat and you could win a $100 ABC Shop gift voucher.

The prizes
The winner will receive a $100 ABC Shop gift voucher, the two runner-ups will each receive a $50 ABC Shop gift voucher.

How to enter
Choose your photo/s (it's okay to enter more than one) that depict the 'summer heat' theme
Email each photo individually along with the following details
Caption (25 words or less that describes how your photo fits the theme of summer heat)
Your name
Contact phone number
to: abc.science.photos.1401@gmail.com
If you're under 18 you'll also need to include:

Your age
The name of an adult who has given you permission to enter
Competition closes 5.00pm 24 January 2014

Winners of all prizes will be announced on our website, Facebook page and email newsletter on Wednesday 5 February 2014.

Terms and conditions
To be eligible for entry the photo must be an original work created by you.

You maintain copyright over any photo you enter in the competition but you allow us to use the photo to promote the competition on the ABC website, Facebook page and ABC Science email newsletter. We will not use the photos for any other purpose without seeking permission from you.

All entries must be received by no later than 5.00 pm 24 January 2014
