1) Pro Rated Billings
When you first connect to live connected ,you will have to pay $20 dollars for a sim card, just the sim card. Pro Rated Billing means that you are only charged for when you connect on the first month. Say you activated on the 29th of September, on the 7th of October (when I receive my bill), you would be charged say 6,7 dollars for the amount you used for the last month. Then it will go normal, and when you recieve your bill it will have the amount that you are normally charged for your bill.
2) Activation
When you activate Live Connected, most likely you will bring over your own number. You will need to wait 4 working days, that means 4 business days! So if you activated on a Friday, it will most likely activate on Tuesday, Wednesday! This doesn't include the weekend!
3) No internet connection
If you don't have any internet connection when you activate this probably means that you have activated your service, your number has been brought over. But the workers at LC have not started your service. You can either call them up, or wait 48 hours. If you are experiencing problems with no internet connection, then call up LC or make a support ticket.
4) Support Line
LC has a support number, (07) 3038 3068
In my experience, it normally opens about 8-9am.
If you hear music, that means you are on hold.
Don't panic thinking that the support line is stuffed, but it isn't!
5) Replace your sim
Log on into your account & next to your Service Number should be Replace Sim,
Note this will cost 20 dollars!
6) Plan problems
If LC has changed your plan or charged you extra, use the support line or make a ticket. In my experience tickets are faster than forums.
