LS的TX别紧张，

那些过来人曾经告诉我们：抓大放小，让孩子细心些。能对的，会做得的题一定答对， 不会的题，排除法猜一下， 能有25%-50%的机会答对。

OC 考试 70%的正确率 基本上就有250+。SS考试 70%的正确率 大概有230+。 所以还好啦。

最后一周,明天网站 http://mathemafix.com/test_welcome.html  上还有一套免费的GA和数学题,  

做完可以让孩子放松心情, 准备周四的考试....

对哦,313, 周四. 赶紧改.

考试9点集合，孩子要求早点去。 到了考场外，马上找到同学，一帮子男生狂聊天。

9点多，老师开始召集孩子，提醒上厕所。 同时通知家长离校，下午1点20左右来接人。

和儿子说再见的时候，告诉他：try your best， enjoy your test。

考试开始了， 天气也帮忙。

2/27 如约收到email和信件，通知考试地点， 就在小学附近的中学礼堂。

3. When will the test be held?
The test will be held on Thursday 13 March 2014 at 9.00 am.
4. How long does the test take?
The following is a sample timetable for the test.
Parents should drop students off at the test centre by 9.00 am and return at 1.15 pm to pick them up.
Apart from the arrival time and duration of the tests this timetable is approximate and will vary according to the size and location of the test centre.

Candidates assemble in school groups / 9.00 am - 9.20 am
Session 1:Administration and practice / 9.20 am - 10.00 am
Reading test (40 minutes)   / 10.00 am-10.40 am

7. What must the students bring to the test?
Students SHOULD bring:   / XStudents SHOULD NOT bring:
Two black pens   / XPencil cases
Letter or email from the High Performing Students Unit which shows their student number /  XNote paper or other material such as dictionaries
Clear plastic water bottle – with no writing on it except for the brand name (to be stored under the seat to avoid spills) / XEquipment such as rulers, calculators, computers, mobile phones, watches that calculate or are set to beep
A snack to eat during the break. / XSnacks containing nuts or nut products.

进入5年级之后， 继续阅读。得益于周围小伙伴的广泛的爱好，儿子读书更起劲了。经常和同学分享读书心得，分享喜欢的书目。 阅读范围渐渐扩大到Young adult 类别，图书馆里的搜寻目标由 5-6年级的紫标书变成了7-9年级的蓝标书。

和儿子的讨论结果，依然不参加补习，但平时每天下课回家花15分钟左右完成2页的excel习题，之后是看书弹琴，打游戏，打网球。 周末的时间用来打游戏，打网球，上钢琴主课。6 年级开学，考中学前网上做trial test 适应。 原来打算5年级期末找写作补习班，最后因为没有合适的，只好放弃。

记录5年级一年至今年3月之前的做过的习题，开始很多是针对孩子的弱项进行的基础练习， 最后是对应SS考试的习题，一份考题孩子大约花30分钟
