一岁就等于人类18岁，成年了
2.5岁等同于 22~28, 算25岁吧， 按中国的标准，已经是晚婚的年龄了

我女儿以前的钢琴老师养的一支猫几乎活了２０年（１００人岁）
和她当时的钢琴学校的校龄一致
那猫性格非常温顺
估计是和经常听音乐有关

老年猫大多有关节炎，可以吃些补品，cosequin之类的，我家KIKI吃joint guard吃了3年，后来觉得吃了好像已经没有什么分别，针灸也是刚开始的几次有效，十几次之后又没有用了，几个星期前改吃cosequin，在amazon上的review都说的很神奇，KIKI目前吃了3个半星期，暂时还没有显着的改善。
2010年的时候我的19岁猫咪走了，他是老年猫的kidney failure，最后的两3个月变很瘦，有时候会尿失禁，看他们生病真的很难受很难受，但是又舍不得放手，总想等等看有没有奇迹。

我家养猫不讲究，该吃吃该喝喝，油盐不忌，老猫前半辈子只吃鱼，后几年突然自己改吃猫粮，后来的日子已经有点老年痴呆了，到处撒尿，临走前好几天都不吃东西了，到后来都走不动了，躺在箱子里喵喵叫，很不舍的看着我爸妈，慢慢的就走了。   走的那晚我在澳洲做梦梦到它了，朝我喵喵叫了几声，我抱了抱它，很温暖。

小一点的那只从小到大都是吃鱼（用油盐炖好的，有时还得煎一下），一口猫粮不沾，一步家门不出，现在也有点显老态了，天天在柜子顶上躺着，不怎么跟我爸玩纸球了。

我家猫都是我妈养，当孩子一样养，天天说话，日久就有灵性了。

i saw your old post, how's your cat in china now? still have UTI?

Try to give him more water to drink, place few water bowl in different rooms, change fresh water at least once a day. If he don't like to drink water, add to his wet food and you should feed him wet food everyday as one of the main meal.

don't feed supermarket cat food, buy quality brands such as Hills science diet or Royal Canin etc.

must keep cat litter box/toilet as clean as possible, scoop wee wee and poo poo every single time after he used the litter box, change whole litter every few days, wash the litter box with disinfectant at lease once a week, dirty litter has many bacteria which can cause infection.

don't use crystal litter or clumping litter type, try to use dust free cat litter.

but he need to see vet and get rid of the infection first.

my cat had UTI once many years ago, i did all of the above and keeping my cats healthy, hope this help you too.
