PR的护照上到底需不需要签证(label)

不知道有没有同学遇到这样的情况，也不知道贴这里是否正确。 由于公司出差的关系，我经常遇到这个PR护照签证上的问题：

现今又遇到给孩子申请澳洲护照的问题，由于护照上的Label已经过期了，去给孩子申请护照post office的interviewer非要要求有valid label，否则不给办。打电话去passport Australia也给同样的答复，说要不然就申请citizen。 查官网上：

For applicants born in Australia on or after 20 August 1986:

proof of one parent's Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency at the time of the child's birth.

Either:
one parent's Australian birth certificate;

one parent's Australian citizenship certificate;
one parent's Australian permanent resident status at the time of the child’s birth.

根本就没要求啊，这个proof连自己政府的系统都不统一吗？不知道有没有同学遇到同样的问题？

我已经写信去咨询了，不知道会是什么答复！这个签证都不知道政府是怎么实施的。。。。NND

(17楼的结论，还是上个签证吧省心！immigration也不能保证别国或者别的部门接不接受VEVO的系统！！！）

我也是这么想的，而且也提到网上打印的事情也不行，但可笑的是打电话去passport Australia 也说是要求，你怎么说？明天换家试试

我去贴签了，也问过了，不需要，全世界基本上都可以联网查询了

你去移民局都是这么说，但是现实情况是如果你的那个label已经过期的话，你会处处碰壁，因为航空公司不知道，遇到好的会打到移民局去问，不负责人的就怎么说也不可以。 还有像postoffice这样的和passport Australia这种的我就不知道该说什么了。。。。

也可能我这是个例，但遇到多了就不能说是个例了。。。。

Passport Australia的回复：

Dear XXX,

For proof of citizenship and a passport to be issued to a person born in Australia on or after 20/08/1986, one parent must have been classed as an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident at the time of the child's birth.

If one parent was deemed a Permanent Resident at the applicant's birth, they must present evidence of this by either :
Displaying an Australian Permanent Residence Visa in the parent's Foreign Passport or other travel document ( note: this can be an expired document;) or
Presenting one parent's "Certificate of Permanent Residence Status" from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). or
Applying to DIAC for evidence of the applicant's Australian citizenship (Application for evidence of Australian Citizenship Certificate) using a 119 form.
Australian visas issued electronically using the DIAC online system VEVO, and paper visas (including Permanent Residency) will generally not be placed in foreign passports, however DIAC will place a paper visa in a foreign passport if requested or preferably you may apply for evidence of citizenship for the child (using a form 119).

Applying for a citizenship evidence from DIAC will incur a fee but is less than having the visa place in your foreign passport.

To request the paper visa to be issued to one parent who fits the above category, or to obtain information regarding visas or permanent residency, you will need to contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) who are responsible for these matters.

目的就是让交钱！我就奇怪了，他们明知道VEVO但还是要求有相关证明。我会继续问从那个系统打印出来的算不算！

我觉得可以贴一个，澳洲海关和境内不管，不代表其他国家海关都联网而且都知道。70块买个省心了。。

Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)打印出来就可以了。
但是，官僚主义害死人。。。

海关是知道的，因为海关是要扫描护照进系统的。 只是check in的时候航空公司会刁难你，因为他们怕如果你因护照问题被遣返会被罚款！

去台湾需要护照上有PR贴签的...

关键是看你去的那个国家是否需要护照有贴签...

Unfortunately, you cannot use the printed paper from VEVO system to provide evidence of one parent's permanent residency status.

It would be advisable for you to apply for evidence of the child's citizenship, using a 119 form, available from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).

Applying for a citizenship evidence from DIAC will incur a fee but is less than having the visa placed in your foreign passport.

Please note that you are not able to use the Australian Driver's Licence as evidence of permanent residency.

好吧， 同志们我努力斗争的没结果，和supervisor的对话就是反正他们的规定就是要有physical的stamp在你的Passport才能算evidence，如果你不满意答案可以去complaint！ 好吧我也在immigration网上complaint了！ 不过为了不再费时费力去搞这些，衷心的告诫还是PR的各位如果经常到旅行或者需要办理去别的部门办理什么花钱上个签证吧！！
