Thank you for your interest in changing your plan to ADSL2+ bundled with TPG Home Phone.

What happens next?
For your change of plan to proceed, we will require some details from you.
Once you have replied back to this email with the required information, we will submit your change of plan request.
In order to be able to provide ADSL2+ bundled with TPG Home Phone, due to reasons outside of TPG’s control, cancellation of your existing ADSL2+ service will be required first. Unfortunately a fast “churn” process from ADSL2+ to the service bundled with Home Phone has yet to be established.
Once the change of plan is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation and will be asked to follow a link where you will need to agree and acknowledge the 10 to 20 business day internet downtime and the Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) waiver.
By agreeing to the CSG waiver, you are waiving your rights and protections under the CSG and are not able to make a claim against TPG for compensation in connection with the TPG Voice service that you have acquired. TPG asks you to waive your rights under the Customer Service Guarantee in exchange to receive significant benefits such as low line rental and low call costs.
Once you have accepted these terms, we will organize for your current ADSL2+ account to be cancelled which means your internet service will be disconnected. Cancellation will take approximately 3-5 working days to process and you will be able to nominate the day for this to happen.
Once cancellation is complete, we will proceed with the reconnection of your ADSL2+ and TPG Home Phone service. This will take approximately 10-20 working days.
Your TPG Home Phone Number
Option 1: Porting your existing Home Phone Number
You may choose to port your current phone number. Once ADSL2+ is reconnected, an additional 3 to 4 working days will apply. Please do not cancel your phone service while porting is in progress.
While your number is being ported:
You can make outgoing calls, however TPG will bill you for all call usages.
All incoming calls to your number will be diverted to the TPG Voice Mail system for your retrieval. Please see ‘Phone Number and Porting’ for more details at http://www.tpg.com.au/homephone/FAQ.php
Option 2: New TPG Home Phone number
If you don’t wish to keep your existing number, you may choose to get a new TPG Home Phone number.
It is very important that you do not cancel your phone service while your Change of Plan is in progress.
Your New TPG Home Phone service will be activated at the same time as your ADSL2+. You will be able to make outgoing and incoming calls immediately. You will receive a confirmation email advising you of your new TPG Home Phone number.
