请教各位前辈，这个墨尔本的小学怎么样？

Serpell Primary School  ，Tuckers Road, Templestowe 3106.

不知道哪位高人知道里面的情况吗，请告诉我们，每天只有6分可以加啊！先来先加，后面的要排队了，呵呵。

非常大，很好的学校，以前有一个版主angelsea的女儿就在那里

This primary is  not far from my home...the school 非常大,,, but the teachers are not very caring due to high population ,, ( feeback from family in school)

很好的学校???? hum...............depends on what you want...if you arm for
1..good academic( English writing  and math standard are very high in this school)
"and"
2.. good facility( school is very big and relatively new,, looks like a private school)
3. a school with high chinese population. This school is a very good choice.
I personally prefer to send my kids to a school which the teachers care about the students. Not just doing a job!!
During Primary school years, caring and respect can develop kids confident and "value". Personally, I think these are more important than knowledge.
Have u visit Donburn and Doncaster Garden? I heard so many positive feedback about Donburn. The teachers are great. This school is getting popular in our  Doncaster chinese community.

Thanks for your describe in details.
I may move to Doncaster east.And I think your opinion is right. Some people said they have bad impress
about this school. And the report of the school said that just 74% of their faculty are satisfy of their job.

I am still wondering if I should sent my daughter to schools such as MLC or PLC.
I want their care as the same importance of academic. Most people said that private school did it well.
But those school are still a big one.

听说新移民的孩子凭护照和居住证明就可入读？不需要读语言班吗？ 不知道孩子读语言班要不要缴费，好不好。
也请大家给个意见，谢谢啦！

这个要看学校，我儿子来到时候问了几个学校，有的要有的不要。不过我没有问过public school，不知道他们有没有要求。孩子读语言应该是不要钱的。但是学语言到底有没有必要没有定论，仁者见仁智者见智，我们家孩子是没去。

不知道有没有孩子在那里读书的父母呢？ 那些老师能喊出学生的名字、知道她们的具体情况吗？
最怕老师连学生是谁都不知道。

我去serpell和garden两所学校都看过，很喜欢后者，因为感觉到那里老师都很caring而且都很enjoy 自己的工作。而serpell的话，太大了这个学校，而且小学部分似乎还是开放式的，不太适合我的孩子。不过garden可是有学区的哦。

school zone是指离你家最近的学校, 如果Doncaster Garden 比起其他学校离你家最近,那么你家就属于Doncaster Garden 的学区.

两家学校都不错,老师都很caring.My school website docaster gardern 成绩比DONBURN 好, 特别是数学.我知道Doncaster Garden 是有数学快班的,但是如果你的小孩数学厉害,DONBURN会让你跳级.

Doncaster Garden 中国人是占60% 以上.我知道很多他们的学生去新金山和NORTH SHORE补习.那个很出名的陈老师(儿子拿SCOTCH scholarship) 她儿子就是从Doncaster Garden 出来的,也是有去补习班.

两个学校也不错,DONBURN 比较AUSSIE, DONCASTER GARDEN 因为中国人多所以成绩比较好.

Vic很多中学有精英班，但小学只有少数有提高班.
