紧急求助：父母移民下签证前遇到的问题--会加分感谢的

好不容易体检补材料的都弄完了，第二笔VAC也交了，现在就等着签证下来了。结果今天收到case officer的email:


According to department records, you have been away from Australia for an extended period of time and currently still overseas. Please advise this office within 7 days of date of this email as to how you could fulfil your sponsorship obligations if you are not in Australia?

原因是我是5月底离开澳洲，然后在中国和欧洲生活到现在（因为我老公现在在欧洲工作）。原来我是打算明年3月份和我爸爸（移民申请人）一起回澳洲的。但是我应该怎么和CO解释呢？

You should provide evidence to support your claims. For your information, the 2nd VAC is refundable if the application in unsuccessful.

我真怕好不容易等了1年多，他们又不给我爸爸批签证了。

请问大家遇到过相同的情况？

而且其实我欧洲的现在的陪伴签是到1月底的（因为老公的工作签是到1月底），所以我也可以说准备1月底回澳洲的。

个人觉得你要跟签证官实话实说就可以了，澳洲的签证官还是比较人性的，他们会理解你的情况，把你和你老公的签证页复印给他们，在提供一些证明，证明你是在探亲，会在什么时间回澳洲。good luck!

如实解释自己情况，多提供证据。多把你的计划列出来，拿支持的行动支持。

Hi there,

Please see this detailed requirement from the Migration Regulation applies in your situation -

Reg 1.20 states that the obligations of a sponsor in relation to an applicant for a visa are the following:

(a)      if the application is for a permanent visa...the sponsor undertakes to assist the applicant, to the extent necessary, financially and in respect of accommodation, during the period of 2 years immediately following the applicant's entry into Australia under that visa (including any period of participation by the applicant in the program known as the Adult Migrant English Program administered by Immigration that falls within that period).

I think you need to let DIAC know how you are going to meet this requirement.

I am learning migration law at the moment, and hope this info helps.

我爸爸的下签了,我准备了点材料.email给CO后，一直没回音，后来再写email问，他说我的文件是zip的，他打不开，让我就email pdf格式的，我就又发了一次，这次第二天就下签了。
