The Derivatives Clearing team within Prime Brokerage offers advanced reporting, portfolio analytics for credit and interest rate derivatives.  The Team is currently building out a robust clearing platform connecting to various central counterparties in an effort to mitigate the counterparty risk inherent within a derivative contract. On a daily basis, the account manager must manage and ensure control of the client's trade and settlement breaks, fails, valuations issues and provide answers to collateral concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

    Interface with clients on a daily basis with regard to
        Client On boarding - during the initial phases of the product the OTC Clearing Client Service Rep will spend the majority of their time working with the clients on the on boarding process and setup mappings, run margin analysis, participate in RFIs and all around be the local point of contact.

As the Product matures, there will be more time spent on Client Service orientated tasks managing the daily relationships.

    Trade queries,
    Settlements, Fails,
    Valuations and  collateral concerns
    Assist the local Sales Team with client presentations and product updates
    Regulation - Liaise with the local regulators on clearing related issues.
    Act as the local product expert for clearing in Australia.

      Interface with all areas of the firm with regard to their clients, including
        Operations, Legal, Credit, Compliance, Audit, Sales and trading



Qualifications
.
Knowledge/Experience:

    At least 5 years of fixed income OTC experience
    Understanding of the changing regulatory environment.
    Knowledge of Prime Brokerage prefer

Skills:

    Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives, IRS, CDS, FX.
    Futures Experience a plus.
    Good Excel / PowerPoint Skills
    Able to speak with clarity and confidence to clients and management.
    Dedication to servicing demanding clients

Competencies:

    The position requires excellent interpersonal skills
    The candidate should have excellent managerial/organizational skills
    Highly developed analytical skills
    Candidate should be able to work well with a global team as well as independently when running projects and on boarding clients.
