Job Title: Customer Support Engineer - DCN Region: ASIA PAC

Job Description: .At present we are currently looking for highly experienced Customer Support Engineers that will have the opportunity to work on a high profile, brand new DC products (UCS and Nexus range) that will have significant benefits for our customer base.
Work in a team that provides technical support for Cisco data centre networking products.
This is a job for a technical minded person that enjoys troubleshooting complex problems.
This role will offer the latest and greatest in training within a brand new realm of technological development within the DCN space.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to resolve complex technical problems, multitask, and be dedicated to customer success.
Requirements:
Solid experience analyzing, using and configuring medium to large networks
Strong experience supporting/building client servers
Strong Server/Storage Industry experience
Previous experience providing high level technical support within a Server environment
Knowledge of controllers, drivers and networking components
VMware knowledge or certifications would de a distinct advantage
Knowledge of Routing/Switching
Knowledge of fiber channel operation and protocols.
Experience installing drivers/updating drivers
Relevant Storage, Network or Server O/S certifications.
Windows O/S and File Systems (CIFS, DFS, Active Directory)
Lan switching, TCP/IP and Routing Protocols
Troubleshooting experience within Ethernet and/or fiber channel protocol
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
