Kwell / Travel Calm works for some people but not all. Take one the night before, and take one an hour before you step onto boat. Ginger tablet didn't work on me. Abstaining from greasy food in the morning didn't work on me either.
I've had seasickness all my life, and I dive extensively. Nowadays, whenever I go on boat, I rub 万金油 onto my stomach, give it a hot feeling, and I hardly get seasickness.
I used to get violently ill whenever on boat. As I get older I'm more experienced in what make me sick and I try to avoid it (such as looking around or getting excited about the boat/scenary). I believe one of the main causes with seasickness is psychological (for me).
Last time I was on the boat for 2 day 1 night. Felt great all the time. So, there are some benefits as you age. :si20 |
