Embedded LINUX experience in an embedded telecom product environment
U-boot or similar boot-loaders
Experience with Multi-threaded applications
Experience leveraging open source code
GNU cross compiler tools (gcc, gdb, gmake, objdump, objcopy, …)
Fluent in C. Familiar with bugzilla, subversion, cvs or similar.
Ethernet, TCP/IP, PPP, TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF and assorted protocols
SNMP, HDLC, Embedded Software, Hardware.
Must be used to having an intimate knowledge of chipsets and hardware platforms from the point of view of software integration
Target Processors: Motorola 68K and MPC 8247/72
Experience with IIC and SPI interfaces
Knowledge or experience in DMR or TMR redundant hardware/Software systems will be seen as a distinct advantage including SDH/SONET, PDH.
A broad understanding of telecommunication standards and implementations will also be seen as an advantage.
Although not mandatory, experience in developing GUI interfaces with MS Visual studio opens more options. |
