No, I'm not trying to categorize the relationship. It is the nature of feline and canine. If you have seen any program about wild animal, you will notice, feline animal like leopard, always acts alone. They don't have a big pack. Once they grow up, they will leave their mum and start to hunt by itself. Cats still have that instinct. That's why they don't like to have a leader. Also this is the reason they still cover their liter after going to the toilet. They are not try to keep it clean. They are erasing the trace of their smell. A feline animal wouldn't like a strong leader. But you are fair with them, they will be happy to share their lives with you.
On the other hand, dogs in wild always hunt in a big group, like wolf or hyena. They don't care about poo or pee around. They want to enlarge their territory. That's why some dogs still kick outwards after toilet. Again, they are not trying to cover their pee. They are trying to spread the dust that has their smell so the other dogs will know this is his territory. A big pack will need a leader. That's why dog likes the owner to be the strong leader. Hence a proper training for a dog is necessary.
This is science. I'm not making it up just try to “炮轰” you. When we have pets, we treat them like our kids. But we also need to understand them from their natural instinct. |
