I doubt it and this really depends how they calculate the cost.
The cost should include any cost including
- the down payment and all the followed payment plus the time (you can benchmark the aggregate cost by the mortgage interest (for example 7% compound interest at this stage) ,
- all fees
- and sometimes even the cost of time by the owner (like you need spend time to play with ATO with their rules and time to dealing with agents etc.) .
After all these cost adding up, is it still positive ? If yes, then are there still many people who get PG or NG ?
Think and calculate before saying this again.
