新人接到面试电话，特来请教大虾

今天接到 Altec Lansing的下周一的面试通知。新人刚刚悉尼大学毕业，没有任何面试经验，特来请教论坛里的大虾几个问题，谢谢大家！

Altec Lansing 是一家专门制作音响的公司，喜欢音响的朋友应该都知道它。我面试的是wireless engineer的职位。我上网查了一下，发现有关该公司的面试消息很少。我主要有这么几个问题：

1、穿什么衣服面试比较合适（是否需要穿皮鞋？西装？）
2、面试需要多长时间，是偏general还是偏technical？(这个问题写信给公司问，合适否？)
3、还有别的需要注意的地方，可我一时也想不起来了，请大家多多提建议吧。

1 一定要穿西装，皮鞋，打领带，这个完全是为了卖相~~~有香水，名牌手表的话，喷点，戴上

2 千万别写信给公司，你写了，人家会笑话你是二傻；面试的时候基本上genral的和专业的都会问你的
如果他们知道你是刚毕业的，技术方面估计会问偏理论的~~~

- must look into interviewer's eye, keep eyes contact
- must not be nervous
- read A LOT of interview general questions, and prepare the answers before you go for interview. There are some populars that will be asked

嗯，我去多准备下general question。另外我想请问下，interviewer让谈谈自己缺点的话，怎么回答最合适？还有第一次面试，会不会提到薪水的问题，如果提到，怎么应对好呢？

Interview is to exam your communication skills. remember to speak clearly. do not speak too fast. make sure they understand you. do not be Nervous, at least, do not let the interviewer know you r nervous. keep smile.

your answer must be with positive attitude,  let them know you are nice person. You are a good team-worker . Even though you have something do not know, but you are willing to learn. ask your manager for help, if you have some difficulties, as they are well experienced and will give you helpful instruction. You will put on your time and effort to the job.

the weakness could be your professional area, management skills(as you are less experienced) and you will learn from work and from the seniors.

weakness should not be your real weakness, such as Language, communication skills .....
instead, that should be sth. reasonable and acceptable according to your level.

Visit its website, get some information about the company. You will have chance to ask questions. prepare some questions to ask. let them know you know their business. and you could ask them some question about training and education......

谢谢各位大虾的热情帮助！尤其感谢NeoLife如此长的回复，呵呵，要是能有幸在你手下工作多好～

综合各位意见，我决定从如下4方面入手准备：
1、 查看公司网站，多了解公司信息 （这个我还是有把握的，音响是我的业余爱好，呵呵）
2、准备general questions，类似自我介绍，优缺点，等等
3、准备专业知识，时间有限，注重看招聘启事上提到的802.11 & 嵌入式
4、针对自己的简历，好好描述以往的project经验

面试是周一下午，到时再上来汇报战况 ；）

面试归来。这次面试几乎没有问我general questions，只有问了tell us about yourself，其他都没问。问得最多的是简历，几乎是一条一条问，还问了些编程的问题，比如socket，virtual function什么的，答的不是很好，毕竟不太熟悉，网络方面的问题回答的还好。结果可能圣诞节后出，不过自我感觉不太良好。。。

形象好一点，面试官也会有些好感的

如果是毕业生，技术上的应该问的不会太多啊，多多准备SOFT SKILL

西服不会有错，看楼主的职位回事技术问题吧。
有的公司先是HR面试，然后下一轮是技术面试。

对啊 是技术 纯技术 直接就是管技术的两个人面试我的 可能因为是小公司 所以没有HR的人面试
