Activity statement 003 PAYG instalment notice

会计解释了什么是PAYG instalment notice， 但报完税后税都付了，再收到Activity statement 003 PAYG instalment notice， 是补税，还是系统还没更新？
要换会计了。。。。

The ATO work out whether you need to pay PAYG instalments based on information you reported in your latest tax return.

If you are an individual (including a sole trader) or trust, you will automatically enter the PAYG instalments system if you have all of the following:

instalment income from your latest tax return of $4,000 or more
tax payable on your latest notice of assessment of $1,000 or more
estimated (notional) tax of $500 or more.

假设你会计帮你报完2024FY的税务，因为你大概有太多投资收入啥的，你工资扣的那些PAYG TAX不能COVER所有TAX，你就需要补税。补税金额超过一个threshold,就会收到ATO的PAYG instalment notice, 然后让你自己预交下一个财年的PAYG TAX. 这样你报2025年的税的时候，就不需要一次性补交太多税。

不可以，你如果不想付要调整成0

所以如果你符合以下条件

instalment income from your latest tax return of $4,000 or more
tax payable on your latest notice of assessment of $1,000 or more
estimated (notional) tax of $500 or more.


那么ato每个季度，会让你付款的，但是你可以根据你的生意收入调整数额
