The three most common symptoms of long COVID – fatigue, shortness of breath and chest pain – would come and go with frustrating unpredictability over the next year, some triggered by bouts of pleurisy, a condition in which the large, thin layers of tissue lining your lungs and chest cavity become inflamed.
