Malaysian developer UEM Sunrise says it has lined up a potential new buyer after Singapore's Ascendas Hospitality Trust walked away from a $120 million acquisition of 252 serviced apartments within its Aurora skyscraper.
The Singaporean REIT, which comes under the umbrella of Asian real estate giant CapitaLand, struck a deal in December 2015 to buy the serviced apartments, which make up more than a quarter of the 941 apartments in the previously sold-out $750 million tower at 224 La Trobe Street in Melbourne.
Ascendas Hospitality Trust's decision to terminate the purchase agreement comes just months before final handover of apartments in the 88-level tower, Melbourne's second-tallest building after Eureka Tower.
这种原来卖出做serviced apartments, 现在回到发展商手里。如果没有其他接盘侠,会不会放出来给个人买呢? |
