1. What are the strengths of the school?
2. What areas does the school focus on? What aspects are important to a high school student’s life?
3. How many students per class?
4. Any school bus?
5. What programs do you have for sports? When is the training time?
6. What programs do you have for music and school orchestra? When is the practice time?
7. How are camping and school excursion experiences arranged over the years?
8. How long do you expect students to spend on their homework per night? E.g. Year 7
9. Are the text books paper based? What text books do you choose for English, Math and Science?
10. What is the student attendance rate?
11. How do you engage students to learn? How do you ensure each student is progressing and improves? Any tutoring support?
12. How often are school reports provided? How do you keep parents updated with the child’s learning progress?
13. Do you participate in ICAS tests yearly?
14. What second languages can the students learn?
15. What is the percentage of students admitted to universities? What is the percentage of the students who achieved ATAR 80+, 90+, 95+ last year?
16. What is the laptop requirement?
17. What is the mobile phone policy?
18. What is your expectation on parents? E.g. volunteer involvement.
