收到邮件，说是新的法规会允许租客养狗，房东不能拒绝，还可以在不通知房东的情况下对房子做出小改动等等，现在有个petition号召房东起来抗议，足迹上的房东有去填的吗?
We urge every investor to complete this petition.
The Bracks government is currently looking to change the Residential Tenancies Act.
In their opinion it is unfair. How they think that is beyond us!
Our current laws that govern us are extremely tenant biased already in our opinion. If these laws are introduced it removes major Landlord/Investor rights. How is it fair?
If these laws are introduced:
All tenants can have pets. Landlords cannot refuse.
Tenants can make minor changes to the property without the Landlords permission; i.e. paint, picture hooks, change gardens etc.
The 120 days no reason evic tion is to be abolished. This was removed some years ago and brought back as it is essential. It is our only avenue to move on a poor quality tenant. Without this our only avenue to evict this tenant is to sell or renovate the property and wait 6 months! This is not fair.
The tenants union are telling the government that these laws are excellent. The government needs to hear the other side and they are not.
