Emergency services are at public pool in Melbourne's east where it is believed a man has drowned.
A 65-year-old Bayswater man was pulled from the water at the Knox Leisureworks centre just after 3.30pm on Wednesday, Victoria Police spokeswoman Melissa Search said.
"CPR was conducted on the man but he died at the scene," Ms Search said. "The death is not being treated as suspicious."
She said police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Paramedics were called to the leisure centre on Tormore Road about 3.30pm following reports of a possible drowning, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed.
Emergency services remain at the scene.
The centre has been closed. |
