请教CA对CPA有互免科目吗

好像群里参加CA考试的比较少，是因为通过率低吗？如果是CPA，再考CA可以有免考的科目吗？请大神赐教，谢谢！

我觉得考试内容应该都差不多的吧，为什么考CA的人好少啊？

There is no exemptions between CPA program and CA program.

The only way that CPA can become CA is to apply for "Special Admission to Membership".

Basically, here are the requirements

You may be eligible for membership with CA ANZ if:
• Your admission as a member of CPA Australia was granted on the basis of your successful completion of the CPA Australia professional program.
• You hold a qualification recognised as comparable to an Australian or New Zealand Bachelor's degree.
• You have had at least 10 years of experience post your admission to CPA Australia as a full member.
• You have attained a senior position/s in your career.

It is not easy to find a CA mentor (or CA recognized societies members) in their workplace for some candidates.

Thank you very much! Are you a HKCPA? I am thinking of taking QP as an alternative to become CA in Australia....Because I am a CICPA, so I can take advantage of mutual examination exemptions between HKICPA and CICPA. Do you have any advice for this? Thanks again!

Well from what I heard you can do it this way. Once you qualified as HKICPA then by mutual agreement between HKICPA and CAANZ, you can become CAANZ

Refer the form (Section 4 below)

"Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)
(members who have completed the HKICPA Qualifications Programme and
training under an authorised Employer/Supervisor)"

However, the main disadvantage is that you need to keep paying HKICPA, CICPA and CAANZ member fees per annum.

I just find this out. It may be relevant to you if you want to become a Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW) member.

Thank you very much! I did some research regarding QP, I noticed that I have to attend two-days workshop before sitting the module exams. It costs a lot for these trips to fly back from Australia, and now I am changing my mind by considering to take CA program instead...., but I have to take all the module exams without exemptions...
