Responsibilities:
•To develop AC/DC electrical system design drawings and production of AutoCAD drawings for use in pre-sales, Local Configuration Centre support and post-sales.
•Manage the document library of those designs and drawings that support the business activities.
•Co-ordinate and assist with new product and system design, development and evaluation.
•Optimise existing electrical product designs as directed by Product Managers.
•Comply with all OH&S, Environment and Quality obligations.
To be successful in this role you require:
•AutoCAD Lite minimum, Solid Edge (secondary) - Revit knowledge and experience is preferred
•Knowledge of electrical systems design including cable and circuit breaker sizing and battery design
•A minimum of 5 years experience in UPS/battery systems design & DC systems
•Ability to create room layouts and have knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
•Mechanical/structural knowledge to design battery cabinets, floor stands, DC switchboards.
