This book's questions and answers are not target for CPA exam. Having said that, they are useful to get you better understanding over certain tax concepts & applications over these concepts. Some category B & C questions and answers in that book provide good examples. Other books that have similar types of questions and answers layouts are "Master tax examples" from CCH and "Tax questions and answers" from Thomson and Reuters.
You don't really need to buy it, the cheapest option is to borrow one from a local Australian library( if your library offers free alumni borrowing such Macquarie university). If not, just go to your nearest university library and attempt the questions over there. If you really want to buy one, just obtain a second hand copy.
A better solution is to borrow that book from CPA library.
Better resources for the CPA tax exams are: MCQ questions, PDL academy materials and Macquarie university CPA program notes.
