That is what I did
1. Find a mentor (usally it is better to do this before enrolling the CPA program) unless your firm is a Recognised Employer Partner (not in case).
2. Fill in the PER enrolment form with the mentor (IFAC qualified accountant where he / she needs to fill in the form as well)
http://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/~/media/corporate/allfiles/document/cpaprogram/per-enrolment-form.pdf
3. Send the PER enrolment to CPA (mail / email / bring the person to the CPA office)
4. Enrol the CPA program if you have not done this before
5. Completed the CPA program (this varies depending whether your PER or CPA program finished first)
5b) Since I had an internal work mentor, daily work duties are usually count in the PER experience
6. Fill in and then lodge another final PER form with your mentor in order to advance as a CPA
http://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/~/media/corporate/allfiles/document/cpaprogram/per-update-complete-form.pdf
The form is not difficult to fill in by your mentor if he / she is a direct senior / boss and your skill sets are related to the list over the PER form. |
