About 3:15pm (Saturday 2 August 2014), police and paramedics were called to Richmond Road following reports a child had been hit by a car.
It is believed two girls, aged 7 and 10, were crossing the road with a grandparent when the younger girl was hit by a Toyota Camry.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics for a suspected sprained ankle while her sister, who was not hit by the car, was treated for shock.
Both have been taken to The Children’s Hospital, Westmead for examination.
The driver of the Toyota, a 32-year-old woman, was not injured in the collision and has been spoken to by police. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding collision are continuing. |
