Select Legislative Instrument No. 65, 2014 [F2014L00622] Migration Amendment (Repeal of Certain Visa Classes) Regulation 2014
Commences on Monday 2 June 2014 and repeals
the Aged Dependent Relative visa classes and subclasses
the Remaining Relative visa classes and subclasses
the Carer visa classes and subclasses
the Parent and Aged Parent visa classes and subclasses
Persons are no longer able to apply for these visa classes from 2 June 2014.
Any applications, posted or couriered, will need to arrive at the Perth Parent Processing Centre  (PCC) by close of business TODAY.
Please note applications cannot be delivered personally to the PPC.

因6月2日是西澳公众假期，所以只有今天下午五点前让移民局收到材料才有可能。但有移民中介说按寄出的邮戳时间为准，但不确定是否可靠。

个人认为关闭103只是一个暂时的举措，之后可能会出新的subclass来对应103。

政府缺钱缺的厉害，所以才想出这个辙，让大家都交钱移民去，如果再开排队移民，那自相矛盾了

移民局折腾不是习惯性的么...以前把856和另一个什么类别都合成186，取消onshore和offshore区别，不是一样很无聊。

哇，就算今天寄出，6月2号也不一定能到西澳吧。现在还在准备资料的都白折腾了。

Parents will continue to have the option of applying for a permanent Contributory Parent visa, either Parent  visa (subclass 143) for parents outside Australia or Aged Parent visa (subclass 864) for parents in Australia. Under these visas, applicants need to pay a higher visa application charge  and assurance of support bond than the Parent visa (subclass 103) or Aged Parent visa (subclass 804) applicants. It is possible to stagger the costs by first applying for a temporary Contributory Parent visa and then for the permanent Contributory Parent visa. The temporary Contributory Parent visas include Contributory Parent (subclass 173) visa for parents outside Australia and Contributory Aged Parent (subclass 884) for parents in Australia.

Alternatively, parents can apply for a long stay Visitor visa which allows eligible parents to visit their children in Australia for regular periods of up to 12 months at a time over an extended validity period. For many families, temporary stay provides greater flexibility without the need to wait in a queue for years for a permanent vis

They said before start of financial year 2014-2015...
That's why everyone said it would close before 1st July but not sure which day.....

这样做从长远看是会影响技术移民对澳洲的信心的，希望政府不要糊涂，偷鸡不成蚀把米

你如果材料都有了，现在坐飞机去sa。赶在下午5点之前投进ima的信箱。应该可以。

别指望工党。丫的一上台就把 dependent parent offset 给砍了。

我朋友收到这个消息后打了几个中介的电话了，除了有一家反映慢没听说，其他都说是的6月2号就关闭
