This email will help you prepare for your exam.
General exam information
Your confirmed exam format, time, date and venue appear in My CPA Program. It is important to check this information before your exam.
The structure of your exam, including the number and type of questions, is now available on My Online Learning and on our website. There is also a tutorial for computer-based exams.
Your exam supervisor is the best person to provide further instructions on the day of your exam.
Access to the forums on My Online Learning will close at 6:00am AEST Saturday 26 April 2014. Please don’t wait until the last day to post your question because you might not get a response in time. Access to the learning materials on My Online Learning will close at 6:00am AEST Saturday 03 May 2014.
How important is identification documentation (ID)?
If you do not provide appropriate ID, you will not be permitted to sit the exam.
You must bring two forms of ID to the exam:
1. Your primary ID must contain your photograph and signature.
2. Your secondary ID must contain either your photograph or signature.
The name on the photographic ID must match the name on your member profile with CPA Australia. Examples of correct primary and secondary ID are on our website.
Candidates testing in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia or Vietnam may provide a primary ID that does not have a signature.
Getting to your exam
We encourage you to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Remember that you won’t be allowed into the exam venue if you arrive more than 30 minutes after the exam start time. If you go to the wrong venue or exam session, you won’t be allowed to sit your exam.
You will receive an exam reminder email approximately seven days before the exam. You should read this email for more information about exam rules and regulations.
If you experience any emergencies or exam incidences on the day of your exam, you should contact us.
Academic misconduct
Academic misconduct is a serious issue. Information about academic misconduct and non disclosure policy was provided to you as part of your exam confirmation email and will also be included in your exam reminder email. We encourage all candidates to be familiar with this information.
Your exam results
You will receive information about your exam results by email, after the exams have ended.
