Here are some top tips to get the most out of your Coles Pay Tag™
so you are ready to go when it arrives.
Tip 1: Where shall I attach my Coles Pay Tag™?
Attach your Coles Pay Tag™ within 1-2cm from the bottom on your mobile phone in order to avoid any interference with the camera or battery.
Tip 2: How do I use the Coles Pay Tag™?
We've found the Coles Pay Tag™ works best when held within 1-2cm from the payment terminal screen or the MasterCard PayPass symbol. Just remember every payment terminal works a bit differently. So, you might need to adjust where you hold your Coles Pay Tag™. Look for the green light to show your payment has been approved.
Don’t forget... at flybuys partners scan the flybuys barcode or simply key in the numbers below the barcode to collect your flybuys points.
Tip 3: What if I tap my Coles Pay Tag™ more than once?
No need to worry if you think you’ve tapped your Coles Pay Tag™ more than once.
You will only be charged once for each transaction.
Tip 4: Where can I use my Coles Pay Tag™?
You can use your Coles Pay Tag™ anywhere you see the MasterCard
PayPass logo; from service stations, to convenience stores and supermarkets.
If MasterCard PayPass isn’t available, you can still use your normal
Coles MasterCard.
Tip 5: What if my purchase is over $100?
There are many retailers that will allow you to use your Coles Pay Tag™ for purchases over $100. You will just need to enter your PIN. If the retailer doesn’t allow PIN transactions over $100, simply present your normal Coles MasterCard to verify your signature.
Tip 6: Is it secure?
For your peace of mind, Coles Pay Tag™ uses the same secure Tap & Go technology and fraud protection as your Coles MasterCard.
