This book really catches my attention. Not only because its content, but also the way the author introduced dream concepts, explained dream mechanism. You do not need to be a professional psychologist to understand this book.
It starts with description of dream and indicates that every dream has a meaning. It then explores the dream mechanism: how the dream forms. With introduction of the concepts of consciousness, fore-consciousness, unconsciousness, dream condensation, dream displacement, it explains how the dream forms, what is its function, how we read those dreams.
The English is plain, concise. The theory was backed up by a lot of examples. At the beginning of every chapter has a short summary to help you refresh your memory of the previous chapter.
“Dream is a wish fulfilment” – Sigmund Freud.
