How do I install my iDoorCam?
Carefully remove your old style doorbell and disconnect the two wires from its back.
Attach the iDoorCam mounting plate using the 4 included Phillips screws.
Re-connect the two power wires to your new iDoorCam and angle the camera to the desired position.
Download the iDoorCam mobile App (App Release Estimated for October 2013)
Sync your home WiFi to the iDoorCam.
Create an account
Ring the doorbell and test the camera positioning by viewing the video feed in the App. If the camera is not aimed properly, you can adjust the camera position by inserting a pin into the small hole at the base of the camera lens, and simultaneously using your finger to move the camera.
Once the camera is in place, snap on the iDoorCam faceplate.
The entire process should only take a few minutes. Please do not attempt to install your iDoorCam in the rain or snow or during a lightning storm.
