求助：换工作后的方向问题

目前在做ANALYST/PROGRAMMER， 什么C#.NET, ASP.NET, JAVA SCRIPT, SQL STORED PROCEDURE都写一些。

现在有个机会转到DATA ANALYST（PAY高10%），纯的DATA ANALYSIS和DATA CLEANSING， 但是没有任何机会碰CODE（C#或者ASP.NET），不知道应不应该去，如果转了估计就没机会再做程序员了。

坛子里TX给点建议好吗？ 多谢了！

the new company has third party commercial software to do the analysis, I just somehow need to write some SQL statement.

the job needs at least 6 years industry related experience.

If you dont have solid mathmatics background, you will hit the bottleneck of data analysis very soon

It is a big career change.  If you want to work for corprate and have stable life, go for it and study maths course later. Statistics and knowing R, SAS, SPSS is important for future growth

If you want to work for new projects or have a dream of startups, keep coding and coding well. Programmer is also easier to find a job in aus.

不算BI，如果只是这两个的话，pay 高10%不值得。要么多接触点业务流程转BA，要么多点report之类的做BI。感觉这个职位很尴尬。

数据分析的话，编程能力不是很重要，重要的是数理统计能力

如果是BA的话，还要有财务和忽悠能力
