The IIA will be offering the CIA Challenge Exam for members of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants on November 15, 2007 from 1:30 - 5:00 p.m.
The challenge exam will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions made up of Parts I, II, and III of the CIA exam based on a comparison of the ACCA and CIA exam contents. The number of questions will not be reduced because of previously passed parts of the CIA exam. This one-time exam will be administered only in English. ACCA members who are current candidates of the CIA program can take the challenge exam but will need to pass the challenge exam to be certified (previously passed parts cannot be combined with the challenge exam). Professional Recognition Credit for Part IV will be given for having passed the ACCA exam.
Part and Application Fee: US $300 (members) and US $400 (non-members). There are no price discounts for CIA parts previously passed. Registration deadline is September 30, 2007, 11:59pm. Grade results will be released January 31, 2008. Candidates must complete and submit the downloadable application form to The IIA by fax or mail, along with the appropriate fees and other required documentation. For questions, please contact certification@theiia.org. |
